    Poor assembly and quality from the factory

    Had high hopes for this concealment picture frame as the kids are all into the spy theme right now. Unfortunately, the quality is extremely lacking in this hidden wall safe. The plexiglass front was not cut square, so it does not fit fully into the channel of the picture frame. It can easily pop out. On top of that, who ever cut these out at the factory ended up scratching up one entire side. There is a protective film on both sides of the plexiglass, and it was completely scratched up. I wasn’t too worried since I could peal the film off, and that is the purpose of the film. Except there is a deep cut/scratch on one side, deep enough that you can catch your fingernail on. It’s like someone was careless and scored right through it. The included loop panel didn’t come with adhesive and there is not enough room to sandwich the loop panel in between the wooden box and plexiglass. There isn’t any room to put patches. And since the plexiglass isn’t cut to the correct dimension, it all just falls out. I used the black loop panel to help highlight how deep and visible that scratch is.

    Great concealment piece, looks just like a wall hanging!

    Beautifully crafted piece, great quality, and works just as it should! While this is a simple piece you can decorate the front as you wish, it is large enough for patches and somewhat thick pieces or decor to fit inside the frame, it would be great for pictures as well! My favorite part is the customization, you can even stain the wood as it is left natural! You can not tell where it opens or slides from and is very well hidden! There is plenty of space inside to put what you need and keep it handy! Absolutely recommend and is more than worth the value!

    Not the most secure option, but mostly effective

     The concept behind this design is solid. Putting a picture on the wall that is actually the front to a hidden box is a smart idea. Granted, this particular box was made for the purpose of hiding a gun, but that’s definitely not what I got it for. In all honesty, the real reason I got this was to see how well a person could hide a gun in plain sight, and if hiding it in such a way was safe in any sort of way. The box itself is sturdy, to a point. It seems well put together, but guns are heavy. The weight difference between this shelf empty, and when it has a gun inside would be significant. I don’t believe that the screws and anchors included with this box were added accounting for the weight of the gun. I also think the whole piece of fabric with patches on it is not a very good way to make the box blend in. I think it would make it look cheap and cheesy, which would make it look more out of place and suspicious. The idea is great, but the design is flawed. Also, no matter what way I slid that clear plastic picture cover into the grooves, the top right corner where the sliding shelf comes together would not meet all the way like the other three corners. That didn’t look right to me either. There were several little things that didn’t add up with this, as far as being safe and a successful storage for a gun. My suggestion would be to add a lock to the box. Then the gun is out of the way, and secure. This is suggested in the manual, as well.

    Needs you for the detail

    Love the use of real wood. Looks nice. The feltlike material isn’t that attractive so you’ll likely want to find something better, or at least I did. They’ve got a solid idea, and they’re almost there, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to detail. You definitely will have to put your own touch on it if you want it to REALLY be incognito.

    Real wood and decent depth!

    It’s made of real wood which is way better than others that are made with laminate and particleboard which just looks cheesy. I think using moral patches kind of gives away it’s purpose, but with a photograph it just has the look of a decorative type of frame or shadowbox. It doesn’t have a lock so it’s mostly good for a quick access but cheap Saturday night special. I wouldn’t use this for a premium or prized piece in case of theft, but it’s definitely better than using a cookie jar like a Rockford private eye. Satisfied and recommended!

    Child friendly option for home safety

    I would prefer having firearms in more accessible places that you can reach and grab for with one hand like under a table/desk on a magnet. However, if you have small children this is a good step on having firearms in accessible places. Its not too hard to open, holds good weight, and looks pretty nice. The frame wont hold much in the front, but just slip a picture inside and itll look fine. Overall, its very nice and affordable.

    Well-crafted wall concealment safe

    It’s always good to have a place to hide a gun just in case you need to protect yourself but don’t want to alert others to the weapon. This wall safe is nicely made and looks exactly as it did in the pictures. It came neatly packaged and the instructions were easy to follow so I was able to get it on the wall all by myself. The wood is of good quality and the safe slides open easily so you can access your items quickly.The best thing about it is that there are multiple compartments so you can hide a lot more than a gun. The front is also removable so you can place your preferred picture up on your wall. The only drawback is that the One Tigris patches were not included. I would definitely recommend this wall safe if you want to hide a few belongings in your home, office, or garage.

    Great In Form But Lacking In Fit And Function

    The idea of this concealment shelf is great. Having fast safe access to a pistol for self defense is a wonderful concept.However, as other reviewers have mentioned, it’s just not very concealed when you can see gaps at the corners where the shelf contacts the frame. If it’s not truly hidden or secret then the purpose of concealment is just not there and anybody would have access to what you’re trying to hide.Also, I found that the intended method of hanging is not very stable or sturdy which pretty much defeats opening it with confidence. I give it three stars if you’re willing to do some modifications.

    Meh. It’s ok

    There is an obvious gap where you can totally tell it opens up. For “ concealment” purposes I found this inappropriate. It’s a great idea. Just poorly constructed

    Seems like a cool idea, not too impressed

    There is barely any room between the pad and the plexiglass to be able to put much in there, the clearance is tight. I used the template that came with it and had issues when trying to hang the unit on the screws that I put in with the template. Needed adjusting. The pad and plexi are so tight that it’s a bit of a challenge to get it to not look sloppy when fully closed. Cool idea, to have a concealed area, but in my case it just didn’t seem to work out like I thought it would. Would be nice if it locked, but there’s nothing keeping anyone from just opening this up and grabbing what’s in there. Not much of a “Safe”.

    Exactly what I was looking for

    Yes it is fairly deep, not really deceptive in appearance to concealing the fact it’s more than a picture frame, but with artwork in place it does not draw critical attention to itself either. Not a standalone solution for those with children because of no default provision for locking. Once installed the outer cover glides freely to gain quick access to its contents.

    Hidden Picture Frame Wall Safe

    A great idea and it’s made reasonably well. By that I mean it’s not furniture grade, but ok for what it is. The idea is that is a diversion safe that allows you to hide a firearm or other items in plain sight for easy access when you need it. However, it’s too thick for a picture frame and when you hang it on your wall it looks out of place. In my opinion, it screams “Look at me, I’m a safe posing as a picture frame”. There is no reason to have a picture frame or patch holder as this is intended to be this thick. So you’ll have to decide if this works for you.

    Great concept, tight clearances on front display

    I’ve purchased several products from this manufacturer in the past and they’re all high quality. The frame is suitable for photos, stickers, or very thin patches. However if you’re attempting to use thicker sew-on patches, medals or challenge coins you cannot use the plexiglass cover (as I had planned). The fit between the mounting board and the glass cover is very tight. I’m regrouping and going to revert to a photo before mounting the frame on the wall, subtracted one star.

    I have no idea of what picture to use and I don’t have any patches but anyway it’s a decent product maybe not the easiest quickest to open and gain access but I like the idea of it and I think it’s a great hiding place.

    A Quality Built Piece Of Decor

    This patch panel hidden safe seems to be of good quality materials and construction. It came with all the necessary hardware for installation. If having a patch panel is not your thing, this could be easily used for photos or some other type of decoration on the front.

    A new Take

    This is well made and has a lot of spots thought out. In addition to a firearm this can hold other items, such as valuables and personal information. The slide works well and holds everything nicely. The best part is that the use of patches seems to make how proud this sits on the wall more acceptable. Its not as obvious with the black background how deep it is.

    Nicely Made

    This box is well made and it looks good. It’s exactly as pictured, so no surprises when you open the box. The secret compartment isn’t a locking compartment, so that’s something to consider if you’re using this for gun storage. You can also use this to store other items you don’t want people to easily find, like money and documents. The compartment slides open easily and the patch holder makes it easy to mount items for display.

    You get what you pay for, not awful for the price.

    The Concealment Shelf offers a unique and discreet storage option with its versatile design.
