    She was a no show.

    Being stood up wasn’t really one of my past times. This grow your own gf stood me up somewhere in the shipping process and I never received her. She got cold feet and I was and still am disappointed. Grow your own bf showed up though, and boy of boy did he grow. No, not my bf. I’m straight. I just watch him grow over a few days just glancing over in the kitchen. The winner of UNO received him as a prize.

    Gag gift

    I don’t recommend purchasing for 6$ when you can go to the Spencers website and buy for $1.99….however it’s funny and will sure bring a smile to the one receiving.

    Drowned my girlfriend.

    I got this for Christmas. I put her in water only to realize it takes 72 hours to grow her!Its been over 4 days since then, and I just now realized that she is still submerged completely in water on my kitchen counter. I am not a doctor, but I believe if you leave your girlfriend completely submerged in water for over 72 hours without oxygen, your girlfriend will drown. I would not recommend drowning your girlfriend.

    Only grows a couple inches.

    In hindsight I should’ve known this gag gift would not get too big. I read a review that made it seem as though this would grow to be around 5 feet tall. I let this thing soak for a month and 10 days. I recieved it on June 15th and it instantly went inside a tub of water and I finally took it out and threw it away today, July 25th. The feet never even grew though. It was supposed to be a part of a funny prank on one of my friends but since it never actually grew to be giant it just wasn’t funny.

    The packaging was a little bent, but the “girlfriend” wasn’t damaged. I’m just giving it to my brother for his birthday, I don’t think he’ll care about the packaging. Hilarious gift, though!!

    Great purchase for a gag gift

    When I asked my brother what he wanted for christmas he replied “a girlfriend”. I went on a search and found this “grow a girlfriend”. Last night he opened his gift and he said “yes! finally!” hahahaha. Great purchase for a gag gift.

    Hysterical gift for single bachelor

    My brother in law is a single bachelor for many years now. The family is always on his case about getting serious and settling down. Saw this gift and thought it’d be a perfect stocking stuffer and it was. He bust out hysterically laughing and said he can’t wait to try it out. I’m pretty sure there were tears from laughing so hard. Left 2 stars because he tried to grow his girlfriend and she didn’t even grow.

    I just received this is the mail, and I am very pleased. I had received a sticker note from the seller expressing his gratitude for my purchase and I think that’s a nice little touch.     I bought it to play a joke on a co worker. After we laughed about it we opened it and put it in water over night. It did not grow. It was funnier left in the box. It did what I bought it for .

    Do not waste your money

    You would think this would be hilarious as a gag gift. The gag will be on you. Actual size of the entire package is teeny tiny and the doll is about 2 inches. The joke is on the consumer!

    My Husband’s favorite gift!

    My husband LOVED this gift! I watch his eyes swell up with tears of joy as he lovingly pulled this gift out of the gift bag I had carefully decorated for him.     Not worth time or money!!

    Items package says grows to 6x its original size.. says it takes 72 hours to each full size. Item is originally 2 in meaning it should grow to 12 in however it only grew to approximately 4 in in 48 hours. Item is not as described and definitely not worth the money even though it’s just a gag gift.

    Item packaging not the same as shown

    Bought this because the packaging on the item shown had everything written in English and French. The packaging on the item I received had everything written in English only. So it made no sense to who I was giving it to. And the item is not returnable so just a waste of time and money. It’s funny that it can be shipped to me but can’t be shipped back because of the material it is made of. Makes no sense. Thanks for nothing!!!

    Fun novelty gift…

    It is a fun gift but after you put it in water it gets slimey. Better off just keeping it in the package as a gag gift and have some laughs. We often take life too serious…have some fun with this – I sure did!!

    Apparently A Not So Perfect Girlfriend

    Given to my husband’s single best friend as a gag gift (who runs a cat rescue), and this is the text we received several days later… “Well, I gave the old girl a try. It said she would grow 6 times her size within 72 hours. At 48 hours she told me the pool table would have to go back to the garage! I flushed her down the toilet before she could say anything about the cats.”
