    Works as expected

    Do you want your children to hate you forever? Give your husband this for Father’s Day and it will achieve its purpose. It’s a never ending litany of literary aggravation. My husband will often pull it out at night to get me in the mood…which is now rage and regret. They are dad jokes on another level so 5 stars. They will make you want to end your marriage and/or burn the house down with the book in it (I’m kidding don’t come for me, Allstate). It’s better than most if that’s saying anything at all.Where does he keep his dad jokes?? In a dad-a-base. FML.

    Exactly as Advertised

    One of the managers in my office starts every meeting with a “dad joke”, so I bought this for him as a gift. It has been a hit. My husband flipped through it before we gave it away and was cracking up, so apparently it works on all dads.

    This small book is exactly why I shop Amazon. I like finding unusual, unique gifts for people. Especially for those who seem to have everything. My brother has always been a fan and teller of corny bad dad jokes, so I’m sure he will be telling us these jokes.

    Great stocking stuffer!

    My dad is one to always read dad jokes and he loved receiving this book foe Christmas. I regret buying it a little bit because I am the only one he reads them to so I kind of put the torture on myself. Other than that, if your father like dad jokes just as much as my father does, I would 10/10 recommend this book! I am getting my father volume 2 next year for Christmas.

    Definitely terrible!

    I bought this for my husband for Christmas after I surprised him with the news of our first baby due this coming year. He always cracks dad jokes, but now they have a little extra meaning. He spent a good half hour reading through the book. Laughing to himself. I think it was a good investment and a great way to embarrass our child for years to come.

    Great Dad Jokes!

    I bought this to send (page by page) to my son while he’s in boot camp. There are only a few jokes per page, but that doesn’t bother me. I know he will love all the corny jokes! Def will remind him of home.

    Hilarious puns with fresh content

    Bought this book for a friend of mine who loves puns. I flipped through it before I gave it to him and I thought it was hilarious.The book is full of one liners (well maybe a few lines) and they’re good. I was afraid a book like this would end up being irrelevant because of how easily jokes circulate on Facebook, but most of the jokes I saw in the book were ones I hadn’t heard before.Here is an example of one of the jokes that I laughed way to hard at: “I just finished watching a program about beavers. It was the best dam TV show I’d ever seen.” 🤣

    If you have a kid, not an adolescent, a kid, this and its companion volue will be a hit!

    My 10 year old was given these on one of his “I hate…” days. This and its companion volume stopped that spiral and crash day instantly. I have found one or the other in his school backpack every time I supervise homework since. I have also been told many jokes from them. If you need them as source material or as distraction for a kid, get ’em!

    Eye rolls and groans achieved

    I tried a few of these on the wife and adult-child. A lot of eye rolls and groaned “oh my god” replies. Received one question about whether I like living inside the house. Sent a copy to my father in law for Father’s Day and my sister asked why I don’t care about the family anymore. I recommend this one.

    So cheesy… and I love it

    Gave this to my dad as a Christmas gift. I don’t know what he thinks of it, but I find it hilarious. The jokes are so cheesy, I can’t wait to add them to my repertoire. Note that some jokes in there are confusing, because the punchlines involve the number 1, but the book writes their ones as I, which isn’t quite clear, so if you aren’t aware, it’s going to cause some undue confusion.

    Loaded with Dad jokes

    Got this for my husband for father’s day this year since we are new parents to our son. A good bunch of these jokes are hilarious and had me dying while he was going through it. Totally worth. Plus the cover of the book is pretty sturdy. Seems like a toddler would really have to try and destroy it.

    I purchased this as a gift for my 5 year old son to give to his step-father on his first official Father’s Day.     Some zingers….son spllleing eeerrrorss

    Lots of jokes I’d heard before. But a couple were hilarious. One of which was worth buying the book.Lost a star for spelling mistakes within the book. (Spelling mistakes in this review were on purpose and to drive home the point) You have to have more than a grammar program read a joke book. You need an editor. Dave losing his ID does not equal Dav. There were other spelling mistakes that could have easily been fixed if they just proof read their material.The “dad joke” mustache is just a crappy gag. All of the images on EVERY page were the same. Mustache on one side, top hat on the other. But you don’t buy a joke book for the pictures so no star lost there.Only two jokes per page so I felt a little swindled. You can buy smaller jokebooks with 5 or 6 jokes per page for the same price or cheeper.

    HUGE print, decent jokes

    Judge this book by its cover. These are pretty decent Dad Jokes, but the print size you see on the cover is the print size inside this book. The font is comically large to the point of this would be more of a pamphlet than a book if it was printed in a normal sized font.

    Not as good as the 2nd edition

    Unexpectedly not as good as the 2nd edition (you would think all the best jokes would be in the first book). Still some good ones, but also a fair amount of unoriginal and mean spirited jokes. The 2nd edition is hands down the best joke book I’ve ever read though so just get that one.
