    The bottom doesn’t screw on and is a tad loose.

    Sadly the bottom doesn’t screw on like the last one I bought and the bottom “lid” doesn’t take much to knock off. I won’t have time to find and purchase one that does either.

    Looks amazing, but a little hard to open

    We obviously got this because of Jurassic Park, and it looks so convincingly real. The first time opening it was very difficult, but it was easier everytime after that. Since it doesn’t have a twist closure, you can’t really trust anything heavy in there. It serves our purpose fine, but is a bit expensive for what you’re getting.

    Great product

    The bottom peice is slightly difficult to pop off which is nice. I would reccomend as a diversion safe although you might have to put weights in it to prevent people from realizing how oddly light it is in comparrison to a real can. This product would definetely benefit from a design revamp to make it look more similar to a real barbasol.

    Looks like like the one from the 90s for JP fans.

    I bought this because I wanted a barbasol can from the 90s like the Jurassic park can for a collector item and it looks awesome. Just like the original. The bottom comes out to stash valuables and money or whatever there’s a lot of space for sure. I probably won’t use it. Just cared about the can. The 15 bucks was well worth it. Amazing product.

    Good, but I’ve seen better

    I bought a Barbasol Diversion Safe Stash Can years ago and recently bought another to give to a friend. While the storage capacity is better, the can is flimsier, and the bottom comes off easily. What’s the point of having a diversion safe if the whole thing could fall apart upon picking it up? I don’t recommend this item.

    Good quality but… bad packing.

    I like the product for what it is. I was hoping to use it for my cryo piece from Jurassic Park. But the Barbasol Can came scratched and dented so I will not be able to use it as intended. I may weather it up to make it look like it has been in the mud for a long time. I will have to order another one.

    So the bottom of mine does not unscrew. My boyfriend can get it open by popping It off but I can’t because I have fingernails

    JUNK… Don’t Buy!!!

    Cannot put anything of much weight in it or the bottom cover “friction held” fall off and contents come out! Should be a bottom screw on base!! Only use is for paper money!!!

    I bought vegan dinosaur snacks to put inside so that I could ask people if they wanted some baby dinosaurs. 😁 People got a real kick out of it.There was a small dent but I was able to push it out and you couldn’t see the dent unless you were pretty close. The bottom is a bit hard to get off at first and I wasn’t even sure if it really did come off but I figured it out.

    It’s so close that it’s like CHEATING!

    Having READ Jurassic Park 1&2 (strangely each read while on a cross-country trip by bus) BEFORE seeing the movies, the prop from JP given by “DODSON! WE HAVE DODSON HERE!” to Nedry at the “secret” meet early in the movie. The prop appears to be a standard Barbasol shaving cream can. After looking both ways furtively, Dodson opens the bottom of the can revealing a secret compartment. The bottom of the can was attached to the apparatus that would soon hold “DNA specimens” stolen from the Lab.I dabble in 3D printing and found the files I need to reproduce the apparatus AND the DNA tubes! The only thing I couldn’t reproduce is the replica can itself! In fact, I think the author of the models included a link to this item in his Notes.It looks just like a standard OH-FISH-ALL Barbasol can. The models are scaled specifically for this stash can, so all I gotta do is call up the file, preheat the printer, and hit “PRINT”. I doubt there’s more than one or possibly two companies making these. Can’t see it being a huge money maker. A cop with 2 years on the job would find that stash can. 🤷🏻‍♂️But it’s going to be PERFECT for my needs. I can’t wait to be able to show off my replica movie prop from Jurassic Park. The bottom of the can doesn’t screw on, it’s more of a compression fit. It’s tight enough to hold the contents secure when shaken violently. (Yes, I tried it!)This is going next to the Jason Voorhees mask personally signed by Kane Hodder!

    It comes exactly as advertised.

    It’s a really good idea and very functional. I would recommend a bigger bag if you have “strong scented” things to hide. The bag that comes with it is too small for my purpose. The can itself feels too light and empty and won’t hold up to close inspection. It’s definitely good for hiding in plain sight though.

    Clever hiding spot!

    I bought this as a gift for a college bound student. It’s just like a shaving cream can, same size, not as heavy because it’s empty. Took me a minute to figure out how to open it. No instructions were included but it was pretty obvious once I got it open…It’s small but perfect to hide some money or keys inside. It’s light though, so obviously someone could take it but it’s inconspicuous too. For the needs we have in mind – key hiding spot – it’s perfect.

    of the can’s body. the bottom lid.

    Bottom cap is so loose it falls off by itself even when completely empty. I had to tool in a few burrs/crimps around the bottom of the can body itself. Now it “works”, but still fugazy because the gauge of the metal on this thing is so thin. I get paid for this aggravation?

    Great disguise for travelers!

    Awesome product. It is a legit, hollowed out, aluminum can of shaving cream. Big enough opening that you don’t have to worry about struggling to get money back out of it once it’s been put in. Great disguise. Definitely recommend, especially for travelers!

    should not use this to store anything illegal while traveling by plane

    I have this in my checked baggage for 5 international flights and my baggage was opened for inspection 4 times by airport security. DO NOT use this for flights.

    The barbasol can does not spray out foam

    I I have a regular can of barbasol and it is not the same it’s skinnier taller and there’s no foam in it I mean if they pick it up they know there’s nothing in it. More than likely they’ll probably hear something rattling around in it they’ll hear something to let him know that there’s mor more than likely money end of story. Thank you

    Not what they used to be. Not secure at all.

    I had an older one of these to use to carry cash on vacation. The bottom screwed on and stayed on. Place a little real foam around the top and let it dry and it looks like the real thing. THIS ONE however the bottom is a very small surface friction fit and the slightest knock or hit on the bottom edge and the bottom falls off. Not recommended. It does look like the real product, just not at all secure.

    Almost a Good Movie Prop Replica

    Product is exactly as advertised. It is a somewhat good replica of the Barbasol can used in the film albeit with one glaring inaccuracy: the white cap and nozzle should be blue.Bottom of the can seems pretty okay. Pops on and off with ease. Great for stashing things and customization (if you ever decide to 3D-print the embryo compartment).Product came in its own box. Though that’s pretty much it for the packaging. No bubblewraps or additional layers of protection.

    Average product. Obviously not an operational can but the material of the product is a flimsy metal which actually bent on the first attempt to open it. Was a good gift, keeping above in mind would take or leave it. Wouldn’t purchase again but do not regret purchase.
