    The book itself isnt as funny as the title but it was really informative

    I purchased this as a gag gift for a Christmas party so I wasnt really too concerned about content. I just wanted the shock value from the title. It went over sooooo well. Everyone was cracking up and the receipient turned about 50 shades of red. The quality of the book itself is ok. Nothing special. Decent paperback, not many photos inside so it seemed on point with the price. The book itself isnt as funny as the title but it was really informative. What surprised me the most is they were all healthy recipes! Honestly, I didnt really read the description so I didnt expect that but that was nice. Just wish I could have tried one of the cock recipes before I gifted it away!

    I’m just tickled pink knowing that someone took the time to compile a bunch of mouth watering cock dishes…….its my first thing go to when I’m craving a delicious cock feast.     Really changed my mind about cocks

    Best White elephant gift ever!!

    I bought this as a white elephant give for my work. Beware it could be super offensive so do not just give to anyone! luckily I know my coworkers. IT WAS A HIT! I was super sneaky about and put it in a bigger box with kitchen utensils, oven gloves, and a cookie jar. I wrapped the book in tissue paper and the faces went from wow I got nice kitchen stuff to OMG!!! People where crying from laughter. the book is a legit cookbook. I haven’t asked if they have actually made any of them but the recipes and literature in the book is pretty funny. maybe I will get it back next year (fingers crossed).

    I purchased this book for my Christmas party at work. There was a white elephant gift exchange. I have over 100 co-workers and we work in an assisted living. The book went over well with the crowd. The chick that picked the book looked to be excited when she seen she received a book on how to eat cock. She already had three kids so I figured she already knew how to eat cock but apparently not. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Must have worked because she’s ain’t popped out no more kids since. A year later and people are still asking if I was the one that brought that book!

    Better than the tips my sister gave me

    Every year for Christmas, my family plays one of those white elephant games were we all bring weird gifts. During our party, we also have an ultra-competitive cooking contest in which we elect a “theme” the previous year. I purchased this book for the exchange because our the cooking theme was chicken and I thought this would be hilarious.It did NOT disappoint and the recipes are all amazingly funny. I didn’t win the book, so I don’t know how the recipes actually turn out, but I’d eat them based on the titles alone. I almost want to order a second copy just so I have one at home, too.

    The cock around the world

    As a French guy I’m difficult to convince when it comes to recipes. I purchased that book because a friend told me that there are plenty of recipes inspired from various cultures, which made me purchase the book since I like my guests to discover new flavors from different countries when I cook for them. I’m able to cook a French “coq au vin” almost blindfolded, but thought that you could incorporate that bird into Italian, Spanish or Turkish recipes to name only a few. Cock is usually not the easiest bird to cook with and the author has skills to prepare it in a creative way for sure, taking care of the health/nutrition part as well. The only reason I put only 4 stars out of 5 is because I missed the “paleo” part, otherwise that book has its place in my collection of recipe books.

    Useful Recipes Amid the Joyful Innuendo

    I raise chickens for eggs and meat, and even when buying chicks from a hatchery the occasional rooster is an inevitability. And since my flock free-ranges, they are leaner than your average supermarket hen. So I actually needed this book for its content, and not just the humor value. I’ve already tried a few recipes and they’ve all turned out really well; the stock recipe is nice and simple, but helps me get the most out of each rooster. Highly recommended for anyone who actually raises cocks!

    Purchased this cookbook for my son and it was a hit. He eats a ton of chicken so the title was perfect. He has a great sense of humor – as does his girlfriend – so they have it displayed in their kitchen. lol Some of the recipes are basic but there are a few that are different & yummy. No color or pics inside but still a perfect gift for a chicken lover with a sarcastic wit.

    When I first saw this cookbook I thought of only one man that had to have it.My brother-in-law Chris. If you know Chris you know he loves to cook but what you may not know is his insatiable appetite for Cock.     Amazing a Brilliant Masterpiece of Literature

    Wow what a cool Book I loved every bit of it. The story at the start as well as the deep history on the subject from how rooster testicles in Chinese Medicine help w virility and the gizzard helps in digestion. Then the parts on the vitamins and nutrition from a true expert.Now I live 5 mins out of a good sized city in Thailand yet it looks like I am 100 miles out and I love that. I can see a massive mountain out of my back balcony and one thing I hear in the morning and through the day is called the Thai alarm clock or the rooster/cock. Now when I hear them I think of this book and all the great advice and delicious recipes.I truly love learning about history, health, diet, and good stories. This book truly has it all. Don’t let the name fool you this is not just a humorous book or a simple cookbook it is a masterpiece of literature. Yet as a marketer myself I love how the name catches your attention even if you don’t like the name I am sure you said honey come here look at the name of this book. That is what good marketing needs to do, it need to grab your attention fast and loud. This title succeeds in getting my attention above the masses of books out there.Thank You and I love it.

    50 Seems like a lot of ways, doesn’t it? I’m sure there are lots of people out there who have no intention of eating cock 50 times, much less eating it 50 different ways.     Hit at the Party

    I gave this to my future daughter-in-law at her Bridal party. We are all in the medical field so we tend to have a bit of a warped sense of humor. Also being Jewish we eat our share of chicken. We wanted this bridal shower to be a party. The brides family was having a ‘traditional’ shower but this was for the moms & all the brides friends so it was to be a PARTY. The bride did still get some beautiful gifts, that were very unique & different, but the goal was to see which gift was the wildest. Well This one WON. The really funny part is that it actually had some good recipes in it as well.It was a hit & I didnt even have to recommend it to anyone. The girls already saw the results.

    This is a surprisingly good cookbook.

    If you want to learn to cook with whole unprocessed foods this is a very good cookbook. The title tends to make you think it is just a novelty book, something to buy as a joke. But the recipes are simple and (mostly) easy.I was a bit put off when the first recipe called for homemade stock, and “the basics” are the last section. It would have been better if she had started with the basics and the stock recipe, because they are quite simple. And the rest of the book uses them. There are a lot of soup recipes and recipes that call for that homemade stock.I had intended to use regular chicken for these recipes but they are so easy I have decided to try to find a local organic farm that will keep me supplied in cocks.She even includes a recipe for Jamaican Cock soup. I had searched the internet for an authentic Jamaican Cock soup recipe, but they all start with “buy a packet of cock soup mix”.Some people have complained about her health advice being bad. Well, she knows her views are controversial. I didn’t take her health ideas any more seriously than any other advice that food can cure diseases. But it pretty much comes down to “eat whole foods, avoid processed foods”.I really enjoyed the stories about her family, and her conversational tone. I think I will get more use out of this cookbook than I was expecting.I don’t generally read cookbooks from front to back. But this one ws so short and easy to read that I read it in less than an hour. It is only 50 recipes after all.
