    Fun, fun. Game

We bought this after playing the indoor version and took it with us to a beach vacation with our kids. It was a blast. So many people stopped to watch us and asked where they could get it. Definitely recommend this!

    Love this game!

Such a fun game- you definitely should not play this version indoors! Make sure you have plenty of space. The inflatable burritos take a long time to inflate… and I suggest just leaving them inflated!

    Fun but difficult

Game is made for outside, it is difficult to blow up burritos, but once you get going it’s a lot of fun. Don’t play in windy conditions

    Indestructible?

Honestly, I have no idea what this game is about, but we bought it for our daughter’s birthday party and the day of, the kids ignored the actual game and rode, threw, kicked, punched, and jumped on the burritos and they never leaked. This was a couple of months ago and I finally got around to deflating them as they hadn’t naturally deflated much in that time and were occupying too much space in the garage. Up until a couple weeks ago, though, my kid would regularly take these things out back and beat them with no ill effects other than phycological maybe.

    Super fun!

I have the indoor version of this game and I really liked it so I bought the giant outdoor version for my son and his roommate and it’s a blast! It’s like a giant outdoor dodgeball game except you’re throwing big blowup burritos. Fun for all ages!

Get this, but don’t play around breakable things

This is such a great game. It’s easy – spoons meets dodgeball and is guaranteed for laughs and entertainment. It’s quite simple, which is part of the fun. The burritos are real soft and don’t hurt when getting hit even in the face (speaking from experience). I really enjoy playing this.

A Guacamole of Laughter and Bruised Egos

This game is like if dodgeball and a card game had a baby, then decided to feed that baby a steady diet of caffeine and chaos. The premise is simple: collect matching sets of cards faster than your opponents while simultaneously ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy airborne avocados. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. This game is a minefield of flying fruit and bruised egos. The first thing you’ll notice is the quality of the avocados. They’re squishy, they’re cute, and they fly through the air with the greatest of ease. But don’t let their adorable exterior fool you. These things are weapons of mass distraction. One minute you’re focused on your cards, the next you’re taking a squishy avocado to the face. It’s like a food fight and a strategy game all rolled into one.The gameplay is fast and furious. You’ve got to have the reflexes of a cat and the strategic mind of a chess grandmaster. One wrong move and you’re getting pelted with an avocado. But land a successful hit and you’ll be the toast of the table. It’s a game of high risk, high reward, and high hilarity. But be warned, this game is not for the faint of heart. It’s a battlefield out there. I’ve seen friendships tested, family members turned rivals, and quiet evenings turned into all-out avocado wars. It’s a game that demands your attention, your dedication, and occasionally, your dignity. In conclusion, “Throw Avocado” is a riotous romp of a game that’s guaranteed to liven up any party. It’s a game of skill, strategy, and the occasional airborne avocado. So if you’re ready to embrace the chaos, grab a copy of “Throw Avocado”. Just remember to duck.

The only bruises are bruised egos

My kid loves this game. How many times can you throw something at a parent intentionally without getting in trouble? And my kid doesn’t lightly chuck- she throws like she’s in the World Series. And it doesn’t hurt.I wouldn’t recommend this game being played around priceless heirlooms, they might break from being knocked off the shelf. Your dog might steal a burrito thinking it’s fetch. But those are the only drawbacks.I love this game. It’s silly fun that can be enjoyed by kids, teens, adults – anyone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously (or maybe needs to lighten up a bit). The rules are simple and easy to learn. My kid played it at 7 and she had it mastered in minutes. And you get to throw things at people. We have a zillion board games and this one always comes back in rotation. I’ve also given it with great success as a gift.

    Ridiculously fun!

We played this on our trampoline Christmas afternoon (to contain the mayhem and reduce chances of a popped burrito on landscaping). My son thought it was incredibly fun and I got a nice workout as we actually got winded chasing each other and dodging burritos. Our dog thought the burritos were attacking us and was quite disturbed by the whole scene. Easy to grasp, rapid fire play. We ate breakfast burritos the next day. This gift was perfectly paired with a huge tortilla blanket also available on Amazon.

Fun active game for the family or just kids

The burritos are super soft and not likely to hurt anyone when you have a “burrito battle “. We played over the thanksgiving weekend and my grandson loved it. Easy directions to follow , even quick start ones for those who hate reading long involved directions. Try it !

Never seen my family so competitive – and that’s saying something

‘THWACK’ . I believe that’s the sound the burrito made when my dad threw it directly at my throat at near point-blank range. I should have known better than to bring this game to his house (lol) but seriously, this game is incredibly fun! We were running all over the house, ducking & homebase-sliding to avoid getting hit. It was a BLAST! Literally non-stop laughs. It takes a little bit to learn which cards mean what (and so it can be hard / not as fun to play if half the group is REALLY familiar with the game and the other half isn’t) but once everyone gets the hang of it it’s so much fun! My stomach hurt by the end of it from laughing, and probably also because my body was in shock from suddenly having to perform cardiovascular activity. 11/10 would recommend.

I didn’t know I’d be scrubbing blood out of the carpet on Christmas Day at 10:30pm, but there I was

I didn’t know I’d be scrubbing blood out of the living room carpet on Christmas Day at 10:30p.m., but there I was, having to decide whether I pull out cleaning solution or if I just call it a night and go to bed. It’s all still a bit of a blur, but for proper context, allow me to start from the beginning. My teenage sister loves family board games, and Exploding Kittens is a favorite of hers. She’s mentioned a few times this year that she really, really wanted to try Throw Throw Burrito. Being the amazing older sister that I am, I added this to my Amazon cart and had it shipped to me to wrap for her to open Christmas morning. Did I do my research? No, this is where I made a grave mistake, but more on that later. When my sister tore the paper on Christmas morning to find this long-awaited game, thrilled shouts rang out around the room from fellow family members who looked forward to playing. The pride of a great gift given washed over me in this moment, and I took another sip of hot coffee, happy with the successful purchase. Looking back to that moment, I now see just how naive I was. After Christmas dinner had been eaten and the rest of dessert polished off, 6 of us gathered in the living room and sat down in a big circle on the floor to play Throw Throw Burrito. As I was reading the instructions, I grew concerned. Even though the name is “Throw Throw Burrito,” somehow I thought it would be more like “Toss Toss Burrito.” I swallowed my concern and we dealt everyone in. The game starts and we’re getting the hang of it and it’s a little aggressive…and then someone called a duel. I don’t remember who or how I ended up standing back-to-back with my younger brother who is a head taller and twice my size, but next thing I knew someone yelled “3…2…1… Burrito!” and I was no longer in the living room. Adrenaline surged through my veins and I was on a battlefield. I tried to dodge a burrito and chuck one all at the same time, and we both missed. Glass bulbs clanged on the Christmas tree, other players shouted from the sidelines, and I scrambled to find a burrito on the floor before my brother could get the other and hit me with it. Only thing is—I couldn’t find it. It was lost to me forever, so I had one option: run. I ran faster than I’ve ever run in my adult life as this grown, built-like-bull beast of a man chased me around the living room, nearly causing an earthquake to rupture across the American Midwest. I had nowhere to turn but to keep running around the room before he could hit me. This is where things start to get fuzzy, because my heart is racing and I’m running for my EVER. LOVING. LIFE. Suddenly, my foot slides against a game card and I fly, falling face-down into the carpet. I lie there for a second trying to process all that just transpired when I feel the harrowing finality of a burrito hitting me in the back. The competitive screams turn to silence, and someone says, “Uh, you ok?”I carefully pick myself—and my pride—up off the floor. We all make our way back into the circle, the game we once played long gone, scattered in a disarray across the room. Some announced how this was the most fun they’d ever had during a card game, and still reconciling in my mind what just occurred, I let them know that no one could ever convince me to play this awful game again. My sister rolled her eyes and we straightened the cards best we could to get back to the round at hand. I feel my foot throbbing and I look down, only to see blood running down the side of it. I’m not sure at what point I was injured during my burrito civil war, but there was a gash on my foot. “I’m bleeding!” I exclaim, and my fellow players just start laughing. We finished the game around 10:30 in the evening, and I left to properly bandage my foot. I come back and as we’re putting the game away I see a blood stain in the white carpet where I had fallen just minutes prior. The big question now was, do I scrub the blood out of my mother’s white carpet, or just call it a night? Who knew this is how the Christmas of 2020 would draw to a close? All that being said, buyer beware: this is no game of “Toss Toss Burrito.” This, indeed, is “Throw Throw Burrito,” and may bring out a new side you’ve never seen before of the people you play with. And, bad mood and wounded pride aside, it was actually pretty fun. We played it again last night and while bulbs clanged against the Christmas tree again, no one was majorly injured. The burritos are already cracked and one is missing a chunk, so I don’t think they’ll last very long, but Throw Throw Burrito is quite the entertaining game nonetheless. All I can say now, fellow potential purchaser, is good luck.

    Great Fun For All

I wanted to buy this for a friend for Christmas, but was a little worried because I read a review that talked about someone bleeding, so I bought it to try myself. We played it at work at a gathering and there is no way any part of the game would cause anyone to bleed, but I did see how wild the game can get so if you don’t know your surroundings well enough or ran into something while playing that may cause injury. We did however have a ton of fun and it is a great game!

    Great game

My granddaughters love this game. It is a little hard for the 7 year old granddaughter but with help from her sister she is able to play the game. I like finding games for my granddaughters that are interesting and that keeps them off electronics. This game does that and they do like to play it for quite a long time

    Fun family game

My siblings and I really love this game! The instructions were really confusing at first, which is why I was only able to give it 4 stars. I think it took us 20 minutes to fully understand how the game works. Once we were able to get passed that part though, the game itself is really fun! Would recommend this if you don’t mind reading instructions.

    Great game but quality suck

I bought this game for New Year game night. My family and friends enjoyed and it was super fun. I bought the outdoor edition for the durable cards cuz I knew we will be drinking and accident happen. When I open the box I noticed a lot of the cards were coating was peeling off. One of the inflatables only last for one whole game but I blame that on over aggressive adults.lol

Meeoooww! Listen up, my fellow feline friends!

I am here to share my thoughts on a game called “Throw The Burrito” created by the company Exploding Kittens. As a survivor of their previous game “Exploding Kittens,” I was initially skeptical about playing any game from this company. But, I must say, “Throw The Burrito” surprised me in the most delightful way possible. The game is a mix of a card game and dodgeball – a purrfect combination for any cat who loves action! The game requires players to collect matching sets of cards faster than their opponents while simultaneously ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy airborne burritos. The cards you collect earn points, but getting hit by flying burritos loses them. The game is full of excitement, laughter, and friendly competition – it’s the purrfect game for a cat-tastic time! The game’s rules are simple, making it easy for anyone to understand and play. You place a pair of burritos on a table and draw cards, keeping them a secret from other players. The objective is to rack up points by finding sets of three in the deck before anyone else does. If someone plays burrito cards, a battle ensues, and you steal points from your opponents by hitting them with squishy toy burritos – meowza! Some battles involve only a handful of players, while others force the entire table to engage in a burrito war. The highlight of the game is undoubtedly the burrito duels, where two players must stand back to back, walk three paces, and fire – meow, it’s intense!Overall, “Throw The Burrito” is an exciting and enjoyable game that is perfect for a fun-filled game night with friends and family – it’s a real crowd-pleaser! It’s an excellent addition to any game collection and guarantees a good time – meow meow! I highly recommend this game to all cat lovers and anyone looking for a fun and exciting party game.

Husband Said We Are Not Allowed to Play This Anymore

We’re hosting an extended family game night next week and I wanted something new & different to play that everyone would enjoy. Our family loves rummy, PIT! and other card games so I figured I’d give ‘Throw Throw Burrito’ a try, even though we’ve never played or purchased ‘Exploding Kittens’ or any other of their games. And also even though someone in my family tends to injure themselves every single time we all get together.Yesterday when this arrived, my husband and I sat down to learn how to play so that we can teach everyone else on game night. It is easy to learn and appropriate for all ages. It was great fun playing this, even with just two people, and it’d be a lot more fun with a bigger group. So I matched the ‘Burrito War’ cards which means everyone grabs for a burrito and throw it at another player. I whipped a burrito at my husband’s chest except it accidentally hit him in the face because 1) I have terrible (or great?) aim and 2) we were sitting at very close range to each other.Consequently, he informed me that ‘we’ are not allowed to play this game anymore. When he said ‘we’ I knew he meant me. I am not allowed to play because I cannot be trusted to not hit him in the face with a squishy burrito. He hid the box but I know where and I am totally breaking this out on family game night!

Love It, But Do Not Underestimate the Size of the Extreme Outdoors Edition 😅😅

Got the game today (sorry for taking the pics in the bathroom, only place in the house with good lighting).Immediately upon receiving this game I was excited. I opened the box and blew up the inflatable Burrito and boy did not expect the ginormous size 😅. I know they said ginormous in the description but I was expecting like 1 foot. I was wrong. This thing is 3 feet tall and it is a feat in itself just trying to blow it up (took me stleast 10 minutes)! But let me tell you, when you do get it blownup, you cannot wait to throw it at someone! Just the thought of chucking this ginormous burrito at someone was enough to make me so excited for my next game night! I was worried about being able to throw it, because of it’s size and that it is full of air, but it has just enough weight to it that you can definitely throw it at another person and have it actually travel. This version of the game comes with 2 Burritos (pictures for scale (I am 5’7″ with 2″ boots on in the pictures)), 2 decks of oversized cards (pictures for scale), and what feel like rubber game pieces (flimsy, bit very solid). The Burritos have two air holes (one at the top to fill the burrito toppings section and one at the bottom to fill the whole burrito). The Box that the game comes in has great storage inside and even has a handle on it for easier travel.I love this game already. I havent played it yet but wow I cannot wait to try it out with my friends next game night!

    Hilarious & Multi-use Burritos

This was a mood – I got this and asked my boyfriend “Regular or Outdoor edition” without giving him any context and he said “Outdoor?” – We received it and the burritos were much larger than expected. My fault completely for not reading anything and just getting it knowing it was created by the same as exploding kittens -The whole thing is perfect though – We have completely wrecked each other playing this. LolWe also use the burritos for an array of things – We’ve left them inflated and just place them randomly around the house. In the bed, on the sofa, as a dog gate because our dog is weary about coming near them if the eyes on the burritos look at her. They’ve become an ornament that we occasionally throw at each other even without playing. LolIt’s worth it!

    Great game for ALL ages

I played this game exactly one time at a family member’s house and immediately bought it for my friend who has two children (ages 11, and 7).This game is great for adults and kids, and combines elements of a table card game with dodgeball. It’s relatively safe for indoors as the burritos are extremely soft. The card game is just simple matching: you try to create matching sets of 3 cards, and lay them down on the table to earn points. Everyone takes turns simultaneously, so the game a fast-paced, chaotic flow to it. When someone lays down a matching set of burrito war/battle/duel cards, that’s when the real fun begins. There’s an element of quick-thinking involved as it can be tricky to remember which rules are in effect for the various burrito showdowns. If you act in haste, you may do the wrong thing and end up losing points. But if you’re too slow, someone else can get the drop on you! So, paying close attention is key!Highly recommended for all ages. Absolutely great game.

    Buy this game!

I picked up this game as a black Friday impulse buy, and I can’t believe how incredibly awesome it is! My wife and I played a couple rounds one evening when our kids went to sleep, and I’m not sure how they slept through it! We were so rowdy and loud, and there were definitely some close calls with the fragile ornaments on the Christmas tree. If you are even remotely considering buying this game, you should absolutely do it. The only downside is the lack of durability of the foam burritos, but I can’t fault the game for this, because if they made them tougher, I imagine they would be too hard, and would possibly hurt when they hit you.We found that it adds a lot of excitement to toss the burritos out of reach before you start so you have to go grab them before a brawl or battle.Seriously, this is probably my favorite game at this point, and I will always recommend it!

    Very fun game!

We love this game! I recommend it to anyone! I have played with kids and young as 8 and adults as old as 50! It’s great for the whole family and is very interactive! Would definitely purchase again!
